Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career, including the two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009 and the Luna Award. She portrayed Dyesebel the infamous Komiks character from Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. In addition, she was a presenter on the popular noontime variety show It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, who was an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga located in Victoria, Australia. The father of her mother was married to Ojales by 1982. Jasmine's younger sister is an actor and her father is also an actor. Clare died of a heart disease in 2007, she was barely four months old.
